One of the people that got me motivated to even make music in the first place was https://fallingforasquare.bandcamp.com/ I originally found this mans chiptune-esque project through the minecraft documentary. Some of them are very nice melodic and quiet-esque chiptune that's best for programming or working on a project and it helps keeping your mood up and focused.
I started making music in august of 2015, it was mostly dad-rock but during that period of time during late december I obtained directwave and played around with the earthbound soundfont. With that I composed my first song, titled "ghouls" with the original track becoming lost to time. Despite making this track sometime in late 2015 or 2016 I abandoned electronic music until the end of 2016 picking things up again. Quickly transitioning from traditional methods of recording to just using DAW based composing. Nowadays I don't know what I'm inspired by, but I know where to point at when I want to be reminded why I started.
